Throughout Bruce Springsteen's career, he's paid homage to his New Jersey roots, whether he's singing about Highway 9 in "Born to Run," filming music videos on the boardwalk, or calling it out by name in his debut studio album Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J.

Now, a storied hotel is honoring its hometown hero with "The Boss Suite," a one-of-a-kind collaboration between The Asbury Hotel in Asbury Park and Springsteen's longtime photographer Danny Clinch.

"People in New Jersey, they love their Bruce Springsteen," Simon Little, The Asbury Hotel's area director of sales and marketing, tells PEOPLE. "We've always wanted to do [this suite]. This year seems to be a perfect storm for it."

In September 2024, Springsteen, 76, visited the town alongside the E Street Band to headline Sea.Hear.Now, a concert series led by Clinch. Now, the 20-time Grammy winner is once again in the spotlight ahead of the release of the biopic Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere on Oct. 24. (The Asbury Hotel's sister property, The Asbury Ocean Club, even housed many members of the cast and crew including star Jeremy Allen White while filming.)

To bring this suite to life, The Asbury Hotel reached out to Clinch, who's worked with Springsteen for decades. In fact, much of his work is on display at the Transparent Clinch Gallery, which shares property with the hotel. After clearing the idea with Springsteen himself, Clinch began working on ideas to feature his most iconic photographs.

Clinch, a Jersey Shore native as well, tells PEOPLE he wanted to create a "mini gallery" that guests could sit in and really absorb the images. All rooms at The Asbury include a record player and vinyl, but the Boss Suite features a Springsteen-specific collection, which will create a fully immersive experience for fans.

"You're going to be able to show up in the room, unpack your stuff, throw a Springsteen record on, and there you are in Asbury Park. You can look out the window and you can see the boardwalk," Clinch tells PEOPLE. "For a Bruce fan, I just think it's going to be so cool."

Inside, guests will immediately find a mural that takes up an entire wall. The photo was taken at Sea.Hear.Now last year and features the crowd "super stoked" as Springsteen performs, according to Clinch. Another photograph nearby shows the "Dancing in the Dark" singer writing the setlist for that event. Elsewhere is a framed photo of Springsteen's guitar and Clarence Clemons' saxophone.

Above the bed is an image of Springsteen with Clinch's 1948 Pontiac taken on the boardwalk in Asbury Park about 20 years ago.

"We drove my car up on the boardwalk and we took this portrait of him," Clinch remembers. "Ironically, it was taken in what is now the footprint of Sea.Hear.Now."

Guests staying in the Boss Suite won't only be treated to a visual and audio experience, but they'll get to taste Springsteen-inspired food and drink offerings.

Before bed, fans will get the singer's favorite late-night snack delivered to their rooms: a classic PB&J and a glass of milk. The property will also have a complimentary Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out cocktail available at Soundbooth, the lobby bar and live music venue.

According to Clinch, this collaboration is not only a celebration of an artist loved by the community, but also of the resilience of a town that took a "nosedive" in the 1960s and 70s and has seen a major resurgence in recent years, becoming a popular tourist spot once again.

Says Clinch, "People say music saved Asbury Park, which I don't disagree with."
