Bianca Censori Goes 'Critic' Mode With Architecture Students

Bianca Censoriis stepping into a more academic spotlight. Known for her work in design and her public profile, she recently took part in a university setting that highlighted her architectural background. The appearance has sparked fresh interest in her professional credentials, especially among those who primarily associate her with celebrity headlines. According to reports, her latest role placed her directly in conversation with the next generation of architects.

Bianca Censori serves as guest critic at Colombia University event

Bianca Censori recently appeared as a guest critic at an event hosted by Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation. According todetailsshared by the institution, she participated in a semester-end review session for students enrolled in Advanced Studio IV, a key part of the school’s professional architecture program.

The session reportedly took place on Tuesday and included multiple guest critics alongside faculty members. These critics are typically invited to provide an outside perspective on student work. In this setting, Censori was said to have reviewed design submissions and offered feedback as part of the evaluation process.

While her appearance drew attention, it also highlighted her academic background. Censori holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in architecture from the University of Melbourne. Her work has included collaborative design projects for her husband, Kanye West, some of which reportedly involved significant structural changes to existing buildings.

Censori’s approach to architecture has previously sparked discussion. In a past interview withVanity Fair, she suggested that altering or even dismantling elements of a structure can be part of a creative process. She described such changes as “beautiful” and “symbolic.” Those views offer insight into the lens she may bring to critique sessions like this one.

At Columbia’s GSAPP, guest critics are expected to challenge students while also guiding them. Censori’s participation suggests she was invited to contribute that balance of critique and perspective. That said, the exact nature of her feedback during the session has not been publicly detailed.

“Love Boat” star Jill Whelan says producer tried to trick her into losing weight

Actress Jill Whelan played young Vicki Stubing on The Love Boat between 1978 and 1987.

Key Points

  • A teen at the time, Whelan recalls a producer tricking her during wardrobe fittings so she would feel pressured into weight loss.

  • Whelan, who's now 59, remembers being on a 400 calorie-a-day diet around the same time.

Actress Jill Whelan treasures the relationships she formed while making classic TV seriesThe Love Boat— mostly.

But she feels differently about late producer Douglas S. Cramer, whom she remembers as "a misogynist."

She recalled a particularly cruel move that involved her and fellow actress Lauren Tewes in a resurfaced interview on Steve Kmetko'sStill Here Hollywoodpodcast.

"We would come to a wardrobe fitting at a new season," Whelan said, "to get new uniforms and new evening gowns and new loungewear, and he would call the wardrobe department and tell them to buy everything one or two sizes smaller than we are so that we would come in and be embarrassed in fittings about things not fitting."

Cramer, one of the producers onThe Love Boat, died in June 2021. He was an accomplished producer, with credits includingDynasty,Hotel, andWonder Woman.

Whelan played Vicki Stubing, the daughter of Gavin MacLeod's Capt. Merrill Stubing, between 1978 and 1987, on the popular dramedy. During that time, she went from an 11-year-old kid to a young adult.

So, yeah, her body changed.

"I remember one time, and at that particular time I was going through puberty, and it's, you know, things happen in puberty," Whelan said. "I had gone to a fat farm, or I guess you would say today a spa. I went to a spa in Ojai and I had lost some weight and I was also working with some crazy doctor who had me on 400 calories a day."

She looked back at another difficult moment on the ABC series earlier this month.

"I remember one time when I was just 13 and quote unquote becoming a woman, the very day of," Whelan said on thePatrick Labyor Sheaux With Patrick Labyorteaux,"and I was doing a scene with Loni Anderson, and we were in the purser's lobby, and I used to get everything in one take. I didn't mess up like that. And I couldn't get this line out. I couldn't get it out."

Shestarted to cry, but her costar Tewes, who portrayed cruise director Julie McCoy, helped her when she "admonished the director and said something to the effect of 'leave her alone, this is not helping her at all, and all you're doing is making things worse.'"

Still, Whelan, who's now 59, has often spoken highly of most of her years on the ABC series and her colleagues.

The star's later career has included appearances on shows such asCriminal MindsandThe Bold and the Beautiful.

Anthony Kiedis' girlfriend Eileen Kelly defends 33-year age gap with Red Hot Chili Peppers rocker

Writer and podcaster Eileen Kelly is defending her relationship with musician Anthony Kiedis, who is 33 years her senior.

Entertainment Weekly Anthony Kiedis and Eileen Kelly in Los Angeles in 2026Credit: Stefanie Keenan/Getty

Key Points

  • "Is it really so difficult to imagine that connection can exist across generations?" Kelly asked in an essay for Vogue.

  • Kiedis has been in several relationships with prominent age gaps in the past, Kelly noted, including with model Heather Christie, who gave birth to their son Everly Bear Kiedis in 2007 when Christie was 21 and Kiedis was 44.

Eileen Kelly is standing by her relationship toRed Hot Chili PeppersfrontmanAnthony Kiedis.

Kelly, host of theGoing Mentalpodcast and a writer forVogue, published an essaywith the famed fashion rag on April 21, in which she detailed the "nuanced" position she finds herself in dating someone 33 years her junior.

Kiedis is 63, while Kelly is 30, "which is either alarming or impressive, depending on who you ask," she wrote. "It's my first time dating someone significantly older, and sometimes I joke with friends that I've been missing out my whole life."

She outlined public objections that have been leveled at her relationship, considerations unique to age-gap pairings that she can concede to, and reasons why there's no cause for concern in the essay. But she began by listing off the perks: "There is something to be said for a man who's simply had more time to get his s--- together, and my much older boyfriend seems genuinely excited to be with me — not like he's biding his time before he can swipe for someone better. He is fully aware that he's one lucky bastard."

After getting off to a flirty start with the "Scar Tissue" singer at a birthday party, Kelly noted that "the age gap didn’t register at first. I had met someone interesting and magnetic; if anything, I assumed we'd just become friends." But after becoming serious with Kiedis, she "noticed how differently people respond to age-gap relationships based on who occupies which side of the gap."

Kelly contended that the culture generally praises older women for dating younger men. Meanwhile, "an older man is reflexively labeled 'creepy' and 'gross,' while the woman 'must have daddy issues' or must be a gold-digger." She asked, "Is it really so difficult to imagine that connection can exist across generations, and that two people of different ages can find something real in each other?"

Kiedis, she noted, has "been in several" relationships with significant age gaps. Indeed, Kiedis dated Brazilian model Wanessa Milhomem in 2015, when he was 52 and she was 23. Before that, he dated Australian model Helena Vestergaard from 2013-2015, beginning when she was 19. He shares one child, Everly Bear Kiedis, with model Heather Christie, born in 2007 when Christie was 21 and Kiedis was 44.

"I have my own money, my own career, and I have my own home. I love my boyfriend, but I'm not at risk of losing everything if we break up," Kelly wrote in her essay, highlighting the balance of power in her relationship.

Still she has been subject to "shocking... unsolicited commentary" on her relationship with Kiedis, like a passerby referring to the rocker as her dad. But the couple's life is "comparatively unremarkable," she insisted, simply consisting of "two people doing the ongoing, unremarkable work of moving through life together."

Kiedis helped form Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1983. The band has released 13 studio albums since then. Their most recent release is the 2022 double albumReturn of the Dream Canteen.

  • His look included a pink bag adorned with miniature Mary Jane shoes.

  • The detail served as a subtle tribute to his 7-month-old daughter, Rocki.

A$AP Rockyhas long treated fashion as a form of storytelling, and at Chanel’s cruise 2026/2027 show in Biarritz, France, he took that a step further by incorporating his 7-month-old daughter, Rocki, into the narrative.

Rocky arrived carrying a soft pink Chanel flap bag finished with the house’s signature chain strap and tweed trim. But the standout detail wasn’t the bag itself. Attached to the handle was a pair of miniature pink Chanel Mary Janes, transforming the accessory into a subtle homage to babyRocki—and ultimately, a gift for her.

RockytoldWomen’s Wear Dailythat the bag was a present from Chanel’s artistic director, Matthieu Blazy. “He’s so thoughtful, and he actually had a pregnant woman on the runway, and I’ve seen other models walking around with bags, and they had different color ballerina shoes on it,” he said. “So, I’m going to give these to my daughter.”

King Charles Says His Address to Congress Comes at a 'More Dangerous Time' Than Queen Elizabeth's

King Charles became the first British king to address Congress, following Queen Elizabeth's 1991 speech

NEED TO KNOW

  • The King highlighted global challenges and emphasized the importance of U.S.-U.K. alliances during his historic address

  • Queen Camilla supported him during the speech, which received multiple standing ovations

King Charlesargued that the world is a more treacherous place than it was duringQueen Elizabeth's last Congressional address when he spoke at the United States Capitol.

On April 28, the King, 77, addressed a joint meeting of Congress in a highly anticipated engagement of his state visit to the U.S.

The King and his wife,Queen Camilla, are spending four days in the U.S. this week for an official state visit commemorating America's 250th, and he called out how the state of the world has shifted since his late mother last spoke at the Capitol in 1991.

The sovereign cited how his grandfather, King George VI, was the first British monarch to officially visit the U.S. in 1939 when "the forces of fascism in Europe were on the march," but before the U.S. got involved, noting that ultimately "our shared values prevailed."

"Today, we find ourselves in a new era, but those values remain," King Charles said in his speech in Washington, D.C. "It is an era that is, in many ways, more volatile and more dangerous than the world to which my late mother spoke, in this Chamber, in 1991."

"The challenges we face are too great for any one nation to bear alone. But in this unpredictable environment, our alliance cannot rest on past achievements or assume that foundational principles simply endure," he continued.

"As my prime minister said last month: ‘Ours is an indispensable partnership. We must not disregard everything that has sustained us for the last eighty years. Instead, we must build on it,' " he said, quoting British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

The King's comment that the world is now "more volatile and more dangerous" than it was in 1991 comes as the U.K. and U.S. take different positions on the war in Iran. The conflict has driven a distance between the nations, putting pressure on the King's diplomatic trip to help improve relations.

King Charles' state visit also continuedafter a shooting happened at the White House Correspondents' Dinner in Washington, D.C., over the weekend. On April 25, a gunman opened fire near the press event, which PresidentDonald Trump, first ladyMelania Trumpand other prominent political figures attended.

A Buckingham Palace spokespersonconfirmed the next day that the diplomatic trip would continue, and PEOPLE understands that King Charles and Queen Camilla privately contacted the Trumps.

The King spoke about the startling shooting, the historic relationship between the U.S. and U.K., America's 250th, today's global political climate and more in his sweeping speech, which was a historic address.

King Charlesbecame just the second British sovereign in history to address Congresswhen he spoke on Tuesday, following in the footsteps of his late mother, Queen Elizabeth, who spoke at the U.S. Capitol in May 1991. That trip proved to be the third of four state visits the Queen would make to the states during her record 70-year reign and she similarly hinted that diplomatic relations are the only true way forward in her address there.

"Some people believe that power grows from the barrel of a gun. So it can. But history shows that it never grows well, nor for very long. Force, in the end, is sterile," Queen Elizabeth said then.

"We have gone a better way. Our societies rest on mutual agreement, on contract, and on consensus. A significant part of your social contract is written down in your Constitution. Ours rests on custom and will. The spirit behind both, however, is precisely the same. It is the spirit of democracy. These ideals are clear enough, but they must never be taken for granted," she said.

King Charles' Congressional address was interrupted with over a dozen rounds of applause, many of them standing ovations.

Queen Camillasupported him during his speech in the House Chamber, and a palace spokesperson said that the sovereign was moved by the warm response.

"The King was deeply honored to have been invited to be the first British King to give such an address and was greatly touched by the warmth and generosity of the response he received," the spokesperson said.

Forensic Filesis a must-watch for true crime buffs who don't feel like sitting through hours of material just to learn about a single case. Each episode unravels like a 22-minute whodunnit — with forensic scientists scouring through evidence and performing lab tests to get their answers. (Some episodes, however, explore accidents instead of crimes.)

One of the show's perks is its crisp storytelling, but its atmospheric visual style and Peter Thomas' narrations make it nearly impossible to resist pressing play on the next episode. If that experience intrigues you, however, A&E’sKiller Casesescorts viewers inside the halls of justice to watch real legal proceedings unfold. From police investigations and arrests to trials and verdicts, this series gives a comprehensive look at some of the country's most discussed homicides.

Lorena(2019)

Executive produced by Jordan Peele, this limited docuseries explores the 1993 case of Lorena Bobbitt and her husband, John, which became a news sensation at the time.

Lorena cut off her husband’s penis with a kitchen knife the night of the incident, and she became the laughingstock of the country as her version of events battled against his. (At the time, the inflammatory tabloid inclusions and constant jokes suffocated any opportunity for an equally strong open discussion about domestic violence and the silencing of victims.)

This four-part investigation, featuring interviews with both Lorena and John, reviews Lorena's trial, as well as everything that led to it and the aftermath they each faced.—S.B.

One Night in Idaho: The College Murders(2025)

Nov. 13, 2022, is a day that will live in infamy in Moscow, Idaho. In the middle of the night, four college students (Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin) were brutally murdered in their beds, seemingly for no reason. Three years later, the murderer (Bryan Kohberger) has been sentenced to life behind bars, but curiosity and questions about the four young people he killed remain.

The Idaho Four case captured national attention, but a gag order issued within the state prevented law enforcement from sharing specific details with the public. That gag order wasn’t lifted until after Amazon’s four-part docuseries was released, but the series is still the most comprehensive accounting of what happened that night. The case is presented through interviews with close friends, family members, and others who ensure the victims' names will live on.—I.G.

The Duggarsonce charmed TV audiences with their exceptionally large family — parents Michelle and Jim Bob, along with their nine daughters and 10 sons — on TLC's19 Kids and Counting. However, their Potemkin village crumbled when the show was canceled following reports that the oldest son,Josh, had molested multiple underage girls.

This four-part docuseries delves further into Josh's sordid history, as well as the family's connection to the Institute in Basic Life Principles (a cult-like fundamentalist group led by Bill Gothard).

With interviews from Duggars like Jill Dillard and Amy King,Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secretspresents a thorough investigation into pure sin, prioritizing the voices of survivors over sensationalism.—J.M.

One of the most notorious serial killers, Ted Bundy is often romanticized for using his good looks and charm to lure dozens of women to their deaths. Yet, how many people know the names of his victims — or about his then-girlfriend, Elizabeth Kendall?

Ted Bundy: Falling for a Killeraims to fill that gap by decentering Bundy from the narrative and focusing on Kendall, her daughter Molly, colleagues, survivors, and the families of his victims.

This five-part docuseries — told by women and directed by Trish Wood — approaches this case through a critical feminist lens, exploring the social context during Bundy's reign of violence.—J.M.

It's been more than 50 years since 22-year-old Beverly Lynn Smith was found shot dead in her Oshawa, Ontario, home — and her case remains cold. Though her next-door neighbor, Alan Smith, was the No. 1 suspect and coerced into confessing by undercover authorities, the true killer seems to have gotten away scot-free.

Incorporating interviews with key figures like Beverly's twin sister and artful shots of small-town Oshawa,The Unsolved Murder of Beverly Lynn Smithis a twisty four-part docuseries that examines a muffed investigation and the unethical tactics used to expedite the case. —J.M.
