The actor, 76, serves as executive producer for Wisdom of Happiness, a documentary on the 14th Dalai Lama
Gere and Silva met in 2014 before marrying in a 2018 ceremony, and currently live in her home country of Spain
Richard Gere and his wife Alejandra Silva made it a date night on the red carpet.
The 76-year-old actor and activist was joined by the Spanish publicist, 42, as they attended a coast-to-coast experiential simulcast screening event in New York for the Wisdom of Happiness, a documentary for which Gere served as executive producer.
While walking the red carpet, Gere and Silva shared a sweet kiss in between poses.

The Pretty Woman star wore a navy blue suit paired with a crisp white button-down collared shirt underneath. Silva coordinated with his dark look in an elegant black dress.
In addition to the screening, Gere was also scheduled to take part in a live panel discussion about the film, which follows the 14th Dalai Lama sharing a message that "happiness is still possible, even in the midst of chaos and uncertainty," according to a press release.

Earlier this year, the Looking for Mr. Goodbar actor opened up about his own happiness after leaving the United States for a life in Spain with his wife.
"The truth is that you are seeing us in our momentum. We are happier than ever," Gere told Elle España in a January interview. "[Alejandra], because she is at home and I because, if she is happy, I am happy."
During the same interview, Silva recalled how she and Gere were destined for one another since their paths first crossed in Positano, on Italy's Amalfi Coast in 2014. They later married in 2018.
"We are like soulmates," she said. "We have the same values, we see the world in the same way and from the first moment we felt like we have known each other for a long time. And this only happens once, if it happens at all ... We were united by the karma of our past lives."
As for the Autumn in New York actor, Gere has spoken openly about how the pair have made compromises for each other throughout the years.

"She was very generous in giving me six years living in my world, so it is only fair that I give her at least another six living in hers," he told Vanity Fair Spain in April 2024, though they have also discussed moving back because they at times, "miss" the United States.
More recently, the couple — who are parents to Alexander, 6, and James, 5 — got dressed in their best for the Giorgio Armani fashion show during Milan Fashion Week on Sept. 28.

Cameras caught the couple cozying up to one another as the Runaway Bride star kept it classic in a suit and bow tie, as she sat beside him in a strapless, embellished silver gown.
Additionally, Gere also shares son Homer, 25, with his ex-wife Carey Lowell, while Silva shares son Albert, 12, with ex-husband Govind Friedland.
