To take her mind off the surgery, the content creator shared that her friends helped her throw a "going away party" for her uterus
Myers called the party a "Fallopian Farewell," which was complete with drinks and even a small stuffed uterus decoration
Elyse Myers is saying "farewell" to her fallopian tubes.The influencer, 32, took to Instagram recently to share an update on her health, revealing that she is due to undergo a hysterectomy.Writing in the caption of a Sept. 28 post, the TikTok star revealed that she had recently "found out" that she "needed to have a hysterectomy (which is happening tomorrow).""Instead of letting me dig myself into a hole and disappear, my friends decided to throw me a going away party for my uterus to celebrate the end of yearsssss of constant chronic and debilitating pain," the influencer continued."I'm excited for this new season of my life that starts tomorrow. 🤍 #afallopianfarewell," she wrote.

The video shows a montage of Myers and two of her friends sipping champagne out of the bottle and dancing around, as they prepare to say goodbye to her uterus. Strung across cabinets in the video are letters spelling out the words "Fallopian Farewell" as well as a stuffed uterus.In one clip from the vlog, the social media star and her friends stop to sing a rendition of Chappell Roan's song, "The Subway," which features the lyrics "She got away," about Myers' uterus.Throughout the night, the friends stopped at Taco Bell for snacks and took pictures in a photo booth. They closed out the night with a round of themed PowerPoint presentations.

Myers has been candid about her health — both mental and physical — on social media in the past.In 2022, the comedian opened up to PEOPLE about her journey with her mental health, revealing that she had been diagnosed with ADHD, anxiety and depression, including postpartum depression after the birth of her son in January 2021.
"That was really hard for me, because it hit me like a freight truck. I didn't know how to process it," she said at the time.Followers expressed support for Myers in the post about her hysterectomy, including her husband, Jonas, who wrote, "Whole new season! Love you best friend, you got this ❤️"Others shared their experiences with the procedure, with one commenter writing, "I had a full hysterectomy 2 years ago and it was the BEST THING I've ever done.
