Nicole Kidman "feels very betrayed" in her split from Keith Urban, a source tells PEOPLE
The Oscar winner filed for divorce in Nashville on Tuesday, Sept. 30, one day after their separation was made public
The longtime couple married in 2006 and they share two daughters, ages 17 and 14
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have called it quits after 19 years of marriage, and a source tells PEOPLE, "She feels very betrayed."
On Tuesday, Sept. 30, the Oscar winner, 58, officially filed for divorce from the country singer, 57, in Nashville courts after news of their separation came to light the day prior.
Reps for Urban and Kidman did not respond to PEOPLE's requests for comment.
One insider told PEOPLE on Monday, Sept. 29, that Kidman "didn't want this," and the Babygirl star "has been fighting to save the marriage." Kidman, who was previously married to Tom Cruise, has two daughters with Urban: Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14.
This past summer, while the singer was on tour, Kidman and her teenagers were "inseparable," a source close to the family said in August, adding, "Nicole lives full time in Nashville. She loves the tight-knit community and group of friends that she has built, and it's the perfect place to raise her children."

The longtime couple, who married in June 2006, were last spotted out together when they attended the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup match between Los Angeles Football Club and Esperance de Tunis at GEODIS Park on June 20 in Nashville.
Before that, Urban and Kidman walked the red carpet together at the 2025 Academy of Country Music Awards in Frisco, Texas, on May 8.
Urban and Kidman reportedly separated early in the summer. A source said in this week's issue of PEOPLE, "Their lives were moving in different directions, and once he quietly set up his own place, it felt like the writing was on the wall."
"It really hasn't been a secret in their circles that Keith and Nicole have been living separately for a while now," the source added. "People close to Keith felt like the split was kind of inevitable."
On June 25, Kidman shared a photo of herself cuddled up to Urban on Instagram to commemorate their wedding anniversary. "Happy Anniversary Baby @KeithUrban," she wrote.
In April 2024, Kidman told PEOPLE, "I'm so lucky that I have Keith, who's just my love, my deep, deep love. That gives me the ability to go and do whatever I have to do because I know where I can come back to." Urban, back in 2021, said that "marrying the right person" for "the right reasons" was his biggest accomplishment.
