<p>Lauren Sánchez married Jeff Bezos in Venice, Italy, on June 27 and photos from the couple's big day have been posted online. And while some people have enjoyed seeing glimpses of the star-studded soiree, others haven't been super impressed.</p>
<p>Vogue did a special photoshoot with the bride and published some exclusive photos of Sánchez in her custom wedding gown. Jack Schlossberg posted one of the photos on his Instagram account and former Today host Katie Couric popped up in the comments section with her uncensored thoughts.</p>
<p>"Welcome to the eighties—when big hair and conspicuous consumption ruled. Apparently tacky is back," Couric wrote.</p>

<p>Many fans responded to Couric's comment, agreeing with her and supporting her take.</p>
<p>"@katiecouric so funny, and for my fifth wedding to a billionaire…" one person said.</p>
<p>"I love this side of Katie Couric!" someone else added.</p>
<p>"@katiecouric spot on! 'Money can't buy you class,'" a third comment read.</p>

<p>Sánchez wore a custom Dolce & Gabbana mermaid style gown complete with a lace overlay, buttons down the front and a long, flowing veil. The gown received mixed reviews from the public overall, with some loving the look and others echoing Couric's "tacky" sentiments.</p>
<p>Meanwhile, Sánchez adored her dress and was very excited for Bezos to see it. In fact, she told Vogue that he asked to see it before the wedding, but Sánchez didn't give in.</p>
<p>"I want it to be a surprise. As you get a little older, not many things surprise you. I can't wait to see his face," she told the outlet.</p>
