Good news, real estate/drama fans: After a nearly 14-month hiatus, Selling Sunset is finally returning to our screens for a ninth installment. As you probably know all too well by this point, this season will feature just as many catfights as it will Los Angeles compounds. And from new faces (hi, Sandra Vergara!) to new falling outs (RIP to my fave besties, Chrishell and Emma), season 9 is looking like it might be the show's juiciest yet.
Back in November 2024, Amanza Smith was the one who first broke the news that the series would return for a ninth season, posting a TikTok captioned, "And we're back," along with the hashtag #SellingSunsetSeason9.

Who will appear in Selling Sunset season 9?
In July, Netflix released the full cast list for season 9—and it includes a new face! In addition to returning cast members Chrishell Stause, Chelsea Lazkani, Emma Hernan, Nicole Young, Alaina Gold, Mary Fitzgerald, Amanza Smith, Bre Tiesi, and Jason and Brett Oppenheim, you can expect to see Sandra Vergara, aka Sofía Vergaga's sister.
"I've always had an eye for design and a love for people, so combining that in real estate just clicked," Sandra told Tudum in a recent interview. "I'd seen [Selling Sunset] and always thought the women were incredibly dynamic. But being on the inside now, it's a whole different level of excitement."
Previously, there were rumors that Chrishell's rival, Nicole Young, would not be returning for the show's ninth installment. According to a January report by TMZ, Nicole had been "put on pause" from the series following her ongoing drama with Chrishell and other cast members. Per production sources, told the real estate agent was "abruptly" cut from filming in November following an "explosive incident" during an all-cast dinner.
Nicole later confirmed the news herself in a statement to Us Weekly. "I had a call with production two days ago, during which they told me I have absolutely not been fired from the cast but they chose to pause my filming schedule until next week in order to protect me from situations on set that had become very contentious," she said. "I'm still debating whether or not I want to continue filming in this kind of environment, especially with so many infuriating double standards."
However, a few months later in April, Nicole confirmed that she would, in fact, be returning. "I don't know how many episodes," she told Us Weekly. "I don't have any deciding factor over that, but yeah, I'm absolutely in [season] 9."
