Archie's getting the gang back together.
Lili Reinhart, Madelaine Petsch, and KJ Apa enjoyed a mini Riverdale reunion at their former costar Camila Mendes' surprise engagement party over the weekend. Petsch, who played the mercurial cheerleader Cheryl Blossom across the series' 7-season run on The CW, shared two photos of herself with Reinhart and Apa to her Instagram story on Tuesday, the first with the caption, "A reunion weekend 🥹❤️."
In both pictures, three fifths of the core cast of young stars (minus Mendes, who was naturally occupied elsewhere, and Cole Sprouse, who was not present) were all smiles in each other's company.

Mendes recently revealed the details of her engagement, in which she was surrounded by friends and family — though she thought she was attending the birthday party of a producing partner.
"Engaged to my best friend," she wrote in the caption of a Saturday Instagram post that provided a glimpse at Mancuso's elegantly designed affair. "Love you so much, my cami ❤️ congratulations to you both," Reinhart wrote in the comments, while their other former Riverdale compatriot, Vanessa Morgan, added, "Omg. Stunning. So happy for you!!!!"

Reinhart, Apa, Petsch, and Mendes were four of only six Riverdale main cast members to stay on for the full series run.
The infamously outlandish teen drama based on characters from the beloved and voluminous annals of Archie Comics, put each of them through the ringer. Apa's character, Archie Andrews, was attacked by a bear after escaping from an underground prison fight club; Reinhart's Betty discovered her father was a serial killer and saved her sister from a cult; and Mendes traveled back in time to invent birth control.
Petsch recently revealed her pick for her personal craziest Riverdale storyline, which involved "the doll Julian was possessed by my brother that I consumed in the womb."

But the trials and tribulations of teen TV created enduring bonds between many of its biggest stars.
Reinhart, Petsch, and Apa's show of support for Mendes wasn't a one-off. In May, Reinhart and Mendes showed up for Petsch to help celebrate the premiere of the first movie in her new horror trilogy, The Strangers: Chapter 1.
