You can officially stream the new 'Superman' movie today — here's where to find it
Krypto fans, the wait is over; Superman is now available to stream on HBO Max. Streaming audiences can finally rewind and pause all of the action a little over two months after the theatrical release.
Whether you've missed your chance to see it in theaters or want to watch the Man of Steel do his thing again and again, we've answered all of the questions you may have about the film.

In this latest entry into the Superman film franchise, David Corenswet stars as the titular Superman, alongside Rachel Brosnahan who plays Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. Rounding out the case are Nathan Fillion as Guy Gardner (a Green Lantern), Isabela Merced as Hawkgirl, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, and Skyler Gisondo as Jimmy Olsen.
In the official synopsis, "Superman fights to stop Lex Luthor's evil plans and to restore his own tarnished reputation in this fantasy action adventure." James Gunn, who you may recall from directing the Guardians of the Galaxy films and The Suicide Squad, uses Superman to officially cement his vision for the DCU, eschewing most of the films and shows (including some of his own) that came out of the Snyder-centric era.
What did reviewers think of 'Superman'?
The Superman reboot received acclaim for its tone, action and message. Though not all were fans; in fact some have called it derided Gunn's "woke" take on Superman. Superman maintains a 83% critics rating and a 90% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.

The film ended its theatrical run, grossing $615 million at the box office which widely seen as positive but not much more than that. However, a follow-up Man of Tomorrow has already been announced with a planned release for 2027 with Corenswet and Hoult returning.
