The teen often posted about her love for the "Stick Season" singer
Noah Kahan is remembering influencer Zuza Beine, the 14-year-old content creator who died on Monday, Sept. 22, after an 11-year long journey with cancer.Singer and songwriter Kahan, 28, took to Instagram on Tuesday, Sept. 23, to share his condolences and express his sadness at the loss of Beine, writing over a photo of the young influencer shared to his Instagram Story that he was "absolutely heartbroken" over her death.
"Zuza, you will be so missed," the "Stick Season" singer wrote. "Thank you for reaching all of your hearts."Zuza's Instagram account, which has been reposting tributes to Zuza on its Stories since announcing the news of her passing on Tuesday, reposted Kahan's story, which was shared by @noahkahannation, a fan page for the singer, writing, "Zuza transitioned while listening to his music."
News of her death comes after Beine had been open online about her journey with acute myeloid leukemia.

According to her Instagram bio, Beine was a five-time cancer survivor and had received three bone marrow transplants over the course of 11 years .Beine was also a member of the content creation group for young creators known as the Glow House. In addition to her candid discussions about going through cancer treatments, she also shared stories about her day-to-day life as a teen.

At the time of her passing, Beine had around 1.8 million Instagram followers, a number which has since jumped to 2 million, as well as 1.7 million TikTok followers, which has since nearly doubled to 2.6 million.Kahan also commented on the post announcing the influencer's death, writing that he would "never forget her" and that his favorite memory will forever be "singing along with her backstage."Beine was a fan of Kahan's music, sharing a TikTok video of her singing along to one of his songs in July, writing in the caption, "No one loves noah kahan as much as I love noah kahan I stand by that." Beine shared other videos documenting her love for the singer as well.

Fans and followers of the teen expressed their sadness and support for the family via comments on the post announcing her death."No one deserves to go through this 💕 Zuza we love you so much," one commenter wrote. "The sweetest soul ever and the nicest person you'll ever meet 🫶🏼."
