Keira Knightley has moved on from playing Elizabeth Swann.
Speaking exclusively with PEOPLE at The Woman in Cabin 10 special screening in London on Thursday, Sept. 25, the actress, 40, says she doesn't see herself returning for a new Pirates of the Caribbean movie after her costar Orlando Bloom said he would love the cast to have a reunion.
Knightley played the role of Elizabeth Swann in the movie franchise, which first debuted in 2003.
The original action film follows Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) and Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) as they retake Sparrow's old ship the Black Pearl and rescue Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) from pirate Hector Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush).
The fifth and last installment, Dead Men Tell No Lies, was released in 2017.
Asked if there have been any talks about a potential new film, Knightley says, "There haven't."
"I actually just heard that for the first time just then so there you go, but no there are no conversations," she says.
The star adds, "You know I think my pirating days are over. I think I definitely spent many years doing that and, you know, it was amazing and I'm very pleased to have been a part of that, but I suspect that my swashbuckling days are done... but I do look quite swashbuckling tonight!"

In August, Bloom attended the 2025 edition of Fan Expo Chicago and said all the cast would need to return for a new Pirates of the Caribbean movie to do well.
"Everything is in the writing, right? Everything is on the page, and I think there's definitely, I'm sure there's a way to create something," he told the audience, per by Entertainment Weekly. "I would personally love to see everybody back. I think the way to win on that one is to get everybody back. If they can, and if everybody wanted to go back."
The movie's producer Jerry Bruckheimer also told Entertainment Weekly, in an interview published Tuesday, Aug. 12, that he has spoken to Depp, 62, about the possibility of a sixth installment.
"If he likes the way the part's written, I think he would do it," said Bruckheimer, 82. "It's all about what's on the page, as we all know."

While Knightley isn't sure about her Pirates of the Caribbean return, she appeared excited about there being a Bend It Like Beckham sequel after the film's director Gurinder Chadha said she wants to release the second movie in 2027.
Knightley played the role of Juliette Paxton in the 2002 movie.
"I saw that on telly as well," she says of the news about the upcoming sequel. "So yes I mean how exciting. I think it's so amazing that a film that was made nearly 25 years ago."
She adds, "It's still is the one that if someone comes up to me, it's about that film. Yeah and I think particularly so many girls do play football now and they want to come up and talk about it."
"So it's amazing to be a part of something that has that kind of legacy and that positivity around it," Knightley tells PEOPLE.
Asked what her response would be if she was approached to star in the new film, she says, "I mean, when I saw it on the telly I thought, 'Oh how lovely, I wonder what that will be?'"
Back in July, director Chadha said she was sure that the original cast of Bend it Like Beckham would want to return for a second installment.
"[They] are aware that a sequel is being developed, but they obviously want to see a script before they commit," she told Deadline. "I'm pretty certain that everyone's going to want to come back."
"Everything hinges on the script and if the original cast likes it," Chadha added. "I am working really hard to make sure every character I bring back has a decent arc and scenes."
Bend it Like Beckham follows Jess Bhamra (Parminder Nagra) who dreams of becoming a professional soccer player. However, her traditional parents have other plans for her.
The Woman in Cabin 10 is on Netflix Oct. 10.
