Donald Trump is looking to remove a historic tree from the White House grounds. The magnolia tree, which is situated off the White House's south side, is deteriorating and thus will be removed, Trump stated on his Truth Social platform on Sunday, March 30. The tree has long been the site where past presidents have welcomed foreign dignitaries. Trump said the tree removal is part of "tremendous enhancements" to the grounds.
