<p>(Reuters) -The Trump administration will make available $1 billion in funding to accelerate the growth of the U.S. critical minerals and materials sectors, the Energy Department said in a statement on Wednesday.</p>
<p>The department will issue notices of funding opportunities to advance and scale mining, processing and manufacturing technologies in the critical minerals and materials supply chains, the statement said.</p>
