<p>Tina Knowles is celebrating Solange Knowles.</p>
<p>On Tuesday, June 24, the Matriarch author paid tribute to her daughter on Instagram for her 39th birthday. Tina, 71, posted a black-and-white photo of Solange with a heartfelt message of how proud she is of her.</p>
<p>"39 years ago today ! I was waiting in anticipation for you to come and join our family . Of course I had to go to the Hospital because in true Solange style, you decided you would come when you got good and damn ready ! They induced me and you finally came and my life was never the same again," Tina began.</p>
<p>She continued: "You brought so much Joy and laughter and you ran the house Always expressing openly your opinion , your disappointment and your Joy when things were right! Always defending the underdog and always telling the truth even when it hurt! Always creating ART in one way or another."</p>

<p>Tina also reminisced about Solange's teenage years and her constant creativity. "Your Cancer spirit of love , life , Family and creativity is Agnes recreated. You have created masterpieces of works and there is nothing that you cannot do! I remember your teenage years," she continued.</p>
<p>"The way you dressed , the way you walked, talked , sang, danced , wrote , painted, threw the best most creative parties , organized trips that were very much sophisticated for a kid. Even the way you turned your pain and trauma into Art!"</p>
<p>The fashion designer called her daughter a "rare creation of Art" and praised her for being a great mom to Daniel Julez J. Smith Jr, calling him "a product of your intelligent, creative , kind , loving spirit."</p>
<p>"I love you so much my beautiful , brilliant , smart , talented, kind , sensitive , strong baby Girl!❤️," she concluded the post. "Please enjoy your day! Today I celebrate the day you changed my life ! Happy Birthday ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹."</p>
<p>Tina also shared a photo of Solange and her son embracing, captioning it, "This sums up my babies Happy Birthday my baby @solangeknowles and love to her baby @iamjulezjsmith ❤️❤️."</p>
<p>The businesswoman released her memoir, Matriarch, in April, filled with anecdotes about her life as a "cultural icon, businesswoman, fashion designer and philanthropist" — and as a mother.</p>
<p>Speaking with PEOPLE, Tina said that when raising Solange, Beyoncé and "bonus daughter," Kelly Rowland: "I told my kids the sky's the limit every day."</p>
<p>She focused on looking at her daughters "differently." "All three have totally different personalities so I couldn't lump them into one category," she said. "And I always spent time with each one of them separately so that they could feel special."</p>

<p>In turn, her daughters also taught her a thing or two. "Beyoncé and Solange have taught me to be fearless and to not have hang ups," she said.</p>

<p>Solange, meanwhile, "has taught me how to just be fearless about dressing. She's like, 'Mom, go for it. Stop wearing a black suit every day,' " she said at the time.</p>
