<p>Maureen McCormick is paying tribute to fellow 1960s star Bobby Sherman, following his death this week.</p>
<p>"Rest In Peace Bobby Sherman," she wrote on Instagram on Tuesday. "I will always remember your kindness… what a beautiful human being. My deepest condolences to his family."</p>

<p>The sweet message was accompanied by a throwback photo from when the two appeared on "The Love Boat" together — an image that seemed to unlock a core memory for fans.</p>
<p>"So heartbreaking Maureen 💔 Bob Sherman was an incredible man. As a teenager I loved you both on The Love Boat," one fan wrote.</p>
<p>"My first tween crush - fridays [sic] nights with the Brady bunch/ partridge family and here come the brides- all my crushes - may Bobby rest in peace!" added another.</p>

<p>Sherman's wife, Brigette Poublon, shared the news of the entertainer's passing in a message shared on John Stamos' Instagram.</p>
<p>"Bobby left this world holding my hand—just as he held up our life with love, courage, and unwavering grace through all 29 beautiful years of marriage," she wrote. Tributes to the actor poured in following the announcement, including from fellow 1960s star Donny Osmond. Along with Here Come the Brides," Sherman was also known for his roles on "Getting Together," and "Shindig!" He was also a singer with famous songs including "You Make Me Happy" and "Hey Little Girl."</p>
