"Girl I love you," Gaga wrote in her response to the TikTok video. "And I'm rooting for you on DWTS! Thank you for this it's so sweet."

Earle also referenced Lady Gaga during her performance alongside partner Val Chmerkovskiy on this week's "Halloween Night" episode on Oct. 28. The pair danced a tango to Billie Eilish's "Bury a Friend," while the introduction featured the duo rising from a pit of dirt, similar to Gaga's "skeleton pit" from her "The Mayhem Ball" tour. Gaga utilizes the prop while singing "Perfect Celebrity."

Earle has often referred to Gaga as her favorite singer — and it seems Earle is a favorite of Gaga's on the 34th season of the ABC show. On Friday it was revealed the "Halloween Night" episode averaged 6.74 million total viewers. That's another season high, the network reports, and the sixth straight week "DWTS" has been up since its season premiere.

The "Halloween Night" episode was up 2% from the previous week (6.63 million on Oct. 21) and rose despite airing opposite World Series Game 4 on Fox.

Dallas Mavericks forward Anthony Davis was diagnosed with a low-grade left calf strain and will sit out the next two games before he is reevaluated.

The Mavericks delivered the update Friday as the team prepared to face the Detroit Pistons and Houston Rockets in Mexico City. Dallas coach Jason Kidd told reporters in Mexico that Davis was considered day-to-day.

Davis sustained the injury Wednesday during Dallas' 107-105 win over the Indiana Pacers. He scored a basket in the first quarter but came up hobbled on the play and soon left for the locker room.

Davis has battled repeated injuries in recent years, including missing all but nine games after being traded to the Mavericks from the Los Angeles Lakers last February. Aside from the 76 games he played in 2023-24, Davis has missed at least 26 games each season since 2020-21.

The 10-time All-Star has averaged 20.8 points and 10.2 rebounds through five games in the early stages of this season.

The Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs enter Sunday's clash in Orchard Park, N.Y., as the fifth and seventh seeds in the AFC, respectively.

That puts the traditional powers closer to the outskirts of the conference playoff chase than the top, though the Bills (5-2) and Chiefs (5-3) expect to keep surging.

They'd love to defeat the other, of course, but realize there still will be half a season left after the showdown.

"Over the years there's been some great battles between the teams, and it's going to be no different this weekend," Bills safety Jordan Poyer said. "Two good teams going at it, and we're excited for the opportunity. Excited for this matchup."

Sunday marks the 10th meeting between Buffalo and Kansas City since the 2020 season, including playoff games.

While the Bills are 4-1 against the Chiefs in the regular season over that span, Kansas City has prevailed in each of the four postseason contests. The latest: A 32-29 home victory in the AFC Championship game last season.

Quarterbacks Josh Allen of the Bills and Patrick Mahomes of the Chiefs have generated plenty of big moments during the rivalry. Allen has accounted for 24 total touchdowns against four interceptions in the past nine meetings while averaging 255.6 yards through the air. That compares to 22 scores, seven picks and 273.9 passing yards per game for Mahomes.

While memories persist, Allen finds it's best to set them aside.

"Every game is different; every year is different. Everything presents itself in a different way," Allen said. "Nothing that happened last year, the year before or the year before that carries over or matters this week."

Kansas City has welcomed the return of wide receivers Xavier Worthy (shoulder) and Rashee Rice (suspension) in recent weeks. Receiver Marquise Brown (illness) was a full practice participant Thursday and Friday after sitting out Wednesday and will also be active on Sunday.

However, running back Isiah Pacheco (knee) is out for the Bills game after sustaining an injury last week. Left tackle Josh Simmons (personal matter) will miss his fourth straight game. Right guard Trey Smith (back) is questionable, as is his backup Jaylon Moore (illness), who popped up on the injury report Friday for the first time this week.

After sputtering offensively and losing their first two games of the season, the Chiefs have won five of six behind a jelling attack. Kansas City is averaging 415.8 offensive yards and 278.2 passing yards per game since Week 4, tops in the NFL.

Bills defensive end Michael Hoecht was also coming off a suspension in Week 8. He joined fellow end Greg Rosseau in forcing a fumble and was part of a defensive effort that saw seven players contribute at least a half a sack in a 40-9 road rout of Carolina.

The defense will get a boost on Sunday. Linebackers Terrel Bernard (ankle) and Matt Milano (pectoral) have missed games this season but both participated fully in practice all week and will play against Kansas City.

Defensive tackle DaQuan Jones (calf), outside linebacker Shaq Thompson (hamstring) and receiver Josh Palmer (knee/ankle) have been ruled out for this week's game.

James Cook rushed for 216 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries to earn AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors.

Kansas City overcame an uneven first half to defeat visiting Washington 28-7 on Monday. Mahomes sidestepped a pair of first-half interceptions to throw for 299 yards and three touchdowns, while Kareem Hunt ran for another score.

The Chiefs bolstered their defensive line this week, signing Mike Pennel -- a tackle who spent 2019-20 and 2023-24 with the Chiefs -- after being released by Cincinnati.

Kansas City is 1-1 in true road games and will visit fellow AFC West contender Denver following a Week 10 bye.

Mahomes said the team embraces the challenge of playing on the road, especially Buffalo's Highmark Stadium.

"It's cool whenever you step on that football field and everybody's against you, and you know you just have your brothers behind you," he said. "It takes everybody, and I think it's just been special that we've been able to do that, play these road games and win these games."

Toppin started the season strong, putting up 20 points off the bench in the Pacers' season-opening double-OT loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder. Toppin missed Indiana's last game (a loss to the Dallas Mavericks) after being ruled out with a "right foot stress reaction."

In his first three games of the season, Toppin has averaged 14 points and 27 minutes per game off the bench.

Toppin is the latest injury blow for the Pacers, who are playing the entire season without star Tyrese Haliburton, who is recovering from an Achilles tear suffered during Game 7 of the NBA Finals. Though there was initially some hope from fans that the point guard could return before the end of the year, president of basketball operations Kevin Pritchard confirmed in July that Haliburton would miss the whole season, with the team not wanting to "jeopardize" his long-term health.

The Pacers' ability to adjust to Haliburton's absence was one of the big questions heading into this season. But without the guard, forward Pascal Siakam has stepped up, leading Indiana across four major categories (points, rebounds, assists, steals) in the first four games of the year. In addition, third-year guard Ben Sheppard has also continued to develop as a starting shooting guard, with players like Jarace Walker and RayJ Dennis contributing significant points.

"After all I've contributed to the tournament and been an ambassador for them, I can't go and have a practice round there with my three grandchildren…It's terribly, terribly sad," said Gary Player, as he was surprised by the mistreatment he received at Augusta National. A three-time Masters Tournament champion, he has always had issues with the course management. And the Black Knight reiterated the same moments before he celebrated his 90th birthday.

Speaking to Adam Schupak from Golfweek, he was asked what legacy he would like to leave behind upon his passing. Player told Schupak, "I hope I'm the head pro at Augusta. But they won't let me play a single round with my three grandchildren, so they're not going to let me be the head pro there." Perplexed by the issue, the reporter asked why that was the case. Player replied, "That's something you have to ask Augusta, not me."

For a fact, it's not like Gary Player is not an honorary member of Augusta National. The Big Three achieved that honor a long time back. But, as he had explained in his previous interviews, every time he approached them to book a tee time to play with his grandchildren, Augusta National always came up with an excuse to turn him down. Eventually, Player just gave up and realized that he is not welcome on the iconic course, despite being an honorary member.

In fact, his animosity towards the course is such that he doesn't even rate the prestigious major anymore. When he was asked to rank the four majors, Player replied, "I rate the Open at one, the U.S. Open two, PGA three, and Augusta four." His response received a lot of negative reactions, as there is a common belief in the golf community that the Masters Tournament can't be ranked lower than the second spot.

All the controversies aside, it's not uncommon for Gary Player to make surprising claims. Even if they go against the common belief of the golf community. In fact, he made another statement recently that may have shocked a few netizens.

Gary Player doesn't shy away from speaking his mind

It's not uncommon for Gary Player to make surprising claims or reveal shocking information. Many were surprised when he confirmed that he was in love again at 89 back in late 2024 and revealed his new girlfriend, Susan, to the world. A few weeks later, on Valentine's Day, he shared a beautiful montage slideshow on Instagram dedicated to his late wife, Vivienne Verwey, as he celebrated their relationship.

Only a few hours ago, another one of Player's interviews revealed that he said something even more surprising. He stated, "In 1953, when I started it, I was condemned. Arnold Palmer, my brother, said, 'Gary, you can't do this weight training.' Bobby Jones said, 'Gary, you can't do all this weight training. You're going to get muscle-bound. You won't win tournaments after 35.' Well, they're all dead and I'm still going." Even though Gary Player's statement about Arnold Palmer & Bobby Jones is true, his bluntness often takes many by surprise as he continues to live with a free mind like he always did.
