One family had an unexpected photobomb during their trip to the national capital. On Tuesday, April 1, Portia Moore, the mother of son Preston and daughter Belle, posted an Instagram photo of her two children posing with the cherry blossoms on Washington D.C.'s Tidal Basin on Monday, March 31. But after photographer Briana Inell snapped the photo, Portia realized that former President Barack Obama was in the background of their photos.

There was an 'enormous eruption' of laughter in the Cubs dugout, according to the broadcast crew, as Suzuki made what was described as a 'walk of shame'. It was assumed that he needed to find a restroom.

A winter sports coach and his superior have both been fired by the US Olympic & Paralympic Committee after The Associated Press revealed accusations of sexual abuse. Coach Gary Colliander was accused of abusing Grace Boutot, a biathlete he mentored at the Maine Winter Sports Center over four years beginning in 2006 when she was 15, the AP reported. Colliander quit the job after Boutot's October 2010 suicide attempt and was later hired by the US Paralympic Nordic team.
