Ruben Amorim would like to see a rejuvenated Harry Maguire earn an England recall when Thomas Tuchel names his first squad a week on Friday. Maguire has gone from losing the captaincy at Old Trafford and being offered to West Ham to becoming a cornerstone of Amorim's back-three and he headed the winner against Ipswich on Wednesday night. Having helped England reach a World Cup semi-final and Euros final, Maguire missed last summer's European Championship because of injury and will wait to see if he can add to his 64 caps against Latvia and Albania this month.

Seven-time world champion Ronnie O'Sullivan has pulled out of another snooker tournament just days before the start, again citing health reasons. The Rocket was set to play China's Si Jiahui at the World Grand Prix in Hong Kong on Wednesday, but his place will now go to Iran's Hossein Vafaei. O'Sullivan, 49, said: 'I had been eager to make my comeback in Hong Kong and have put in my utmost effort, but unfortunately must consider my health.
