Ruud van Nistelrooy believes his brief period as Manchester United boss was the launchpad he needed to land his first job as a Premier League manager. The Dutchman has taken charge of Leicester and be in the dugout for the first time on Tuesday, when the Foxes take on West Ham at the King Power Stadium. Van Nistelrooy was told he was not he was not required by new United boss Ruben Amorim but has used his time in interim charge to catapult himself into the frame for other leading roles.

The third round draw for this season's FA Cup will take place from 7pm on Monday night. It will be broadcast live on BBC Two and will see all 20 teams from the Premier League and all 24 from the Championship discover where their road to Wembley will begin. But The Sun could not wait until 7pm so decided to simulate the draw for a bit of fun. The results were pretty exciting, especially for Ruud van Nistelrooy as his Leicester City side were drawn away to Manchester United.
