Trevor Lawrence reassured fans that he is recovering well at home after taking a brutal hit to the head in the Jaguars' loss to the Texans on Sunday afternoon. The Jacksonville QB was on the end of a huge tackle from Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair that left him motionless on the field and sparked a bench-clearing brawl. Al-Shaair was ejected from the game and Lawrence was carted off the field, and the latter has now given fans an eagerly-anticipated health update.

NFL fans were treated to a brilliant snow game in Buffalo on Sunday night, as the Bills and 49ers went head-to-head in freezing blizzard conditions. Western New York was battered by lake effect snow throughout the weekend, but fans and staff managed to dig out 23 inches of the white stuff to get the game on as planned. And it did not disappoint as fans took to social media to share their love for the conditions - from the warmth and comfort of their homes.

Harris had himself a strong performance against the division rival Cincinnati Bengals, but was briefly struggling in the game. At one point, Harris had to sit out the game but was able to eventually make his return. Rob Udwin, the president of the Rugby Football Union (RFU) has reportedly told council members and former presidents that the outrage caused by the organisation's bonus payouts is just 'media spinning'. While the RFU incurred an operating loss of nearly £40million, chief executive Bill Sweeney was rewarded with a 'long-term incentive plan' bonus of £358,000, to take his overall earnings for the year to a staggering £1.1m. Mail Sport columnist Sir Clive Woodward has been a leading voice in the criticism, expressing his shock at the enhanced pay received by Sweeney and Co.
