The Huskies stand undefeated in preseason action, cruising past Gerry McNamara's new-look Syracuse side 72-52 before heading to East Lansing to secure an eight-point win over Michigan State. Meanwhile, Dan Hurley's sqaud will provide Purdue's first major test this season, as the Boilermakers arrive in Hartford after playing Ball State and Purdue-Fort Wayne.

Here's everything you need to know about Tuesday's action:

The Huskies and Boilermakers will face off at 7:03 p.m. ET from PeoplesBank Arena. The game will be broadcast locally on WFSB, a CBS affiliate that airs in all Connecticut counties except for Fairfield. Fans can also stream the action on UConn+ for a one-time pay-per-view fee of $9.99 or listen via radio on the UConn Sports Network.

UConn's exhibitions give both the Huskies roster and Hurley a chance to ramp up into regular-season form, with the two-time national champion looking his usual animated self on the sideline against Syracuse and Michigan State. Hurley will bark at a few familiar faces tonight, with John Gaffney, Tim Clougherty and Matt Potter set to officiate Tuesday's game.

It's a new era for coach Matt Painter in West Lafayette this season after losing a pair of multi-year stars: two-time consensus All-American Braden Smith graduated and joined the Indiana Pacers, while double-double machine Trey Kauffman-Renn was granted a temporary restraining order to play a fifth season after signing with Kansas.

Caden Pierce, a former Princeton star who UConn fans may remember as a one-time transfer target, averaged 11 points, seven rebounds and three assists in his final season with the Tigers and is the only Boilermaker with a double-digit scoring record. He'll play alongside a promising young backcourt of C.J. Cox, Omer Mayer and Gicarri Harris, looking to feed the next incarnation in a long line of towering Purdue post players: 7-foot-4 Daniel Jacobsen.

Star sophomore Braylon Mullins has not participated in either of UConn's exhibitions due to an undisclosed, lingering off-season injury, but Dan Hurley stated in his media availability Monday that the Indiana native will make his debut against Purdue. Hurley added that the entire team is healthy outside of Solo Ball.
