'Woke' Stephen A. Smith accused of using race to secure rumored huge new ESPN deal
Stephen A. Smith has been accused of weaponizing race in his bid to land a record contract extension at ESPN. The analyst and star of 'First Take' is currently negotiating with the network, with reports this week claiming Smith is close to agreeing a six-year, $120million extension. The 57-year-old branded the reports 'false' but controversial sportscaster - and former basketball player and coach - Dan Dakich has waded in on Smith's future with incendiary comments on his show 'Don't @ Me'.
